Product Photos That Actually Convert
Your product catalogue photos are what viewers see on your TASALive live page while you're talking — they need to look good at a glance, not just in a gallery.
Light
Shoot near a window with indirect daylight — avoid direct sun, which creates harsh shadows. Overcast days are free professional lighting. Avoid mixing daylight with indoor bulbs in the same shot; the colour cast clashes.
Background
A plain, uncluttered background (a wall, a sheet of card, a table) keeps attention on the product. Busy backgrounds compete with the product for attention, especially at the small size photos appear during a live.
Angles
One clear front-on shot for the main catalogue image, plus one detail/texture shot and one showing scale (in someone's hand, next to a common object) — three photos cover most buying questions without needing a full shoot.
Consistency
Keep the same background and lighting setup across your catalogue. A consistent look reads as more professional than any single great photo, and it's faster to shoot once you've set it up.
